I am growing my hair out — should I still cut it?
Almost always, yes. Grow-out plans use light shape work to preserve length, remove fatigue from the ends, and keep the shape readable through the in-between phase. Your stylist will plan the cadence so the length comes in cleanly rather than scraggly.
Will my hair grow back the same if I cut it shorter?
Your hair grows from the scalp, not the ends — so growth itself is unchanged. What does change is how the hair wears between scalp and ends as it grows back. Your stylist will walk you through the months ahead so the in-between phase has a plan.
