SMS Consent & Messaging Policy

We use text messaging only for the things you actually want to hear about: appointment reminders, last-minute opening alerts (if you've asked for them), and occasional updates from your stylist or the salon.

Last updated: 2026-05-25.

What you'll receive

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders — when you book and 24-48 hours before your visit.
  • Same-day rescheduling notices — if your stylist needs to adjust an appointment.
  • Optional opt-in messages — promotions, last-minute openings, seasonal notes — only if you've actively opted in.

Message frequency varies. Most guests receive fewer than four messages per month from us.

How you give consent

You consent to receive transactional appointment messages when you book a service with us. You consent to optional marketing messages only when you actively opt in (typically by checking a box at booking, replying YES to an opt-in message, or signing up in-salon).

Consent to receive messages is not a condition of receiving service — you can book without agreeing to marketing texts, and you'll still receive your appointment reminders.

How to opt out

You can stop messages at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any message we send;
  • Calling the salon you book with;
  • Emailing hello@ropsalons.com.

Opting out of marketing does not opt you out of transactional appointment messages (you still get your reminders). To stop all messages including reminders, ask your salon to remove your phone number from your client profile.

For help with messaging, reply HELP to any message or contact the salon directly.
