Marina Murphy has been part of Robert of Philadelphia since 2001, and after 25 years, she still genuinely loves coming to work. Born in Russia, raised in New York, and now deeply rooted in Naples, Marina brings a mix of diplomacy, warmth, humor, and instinct to everything she does. As Director of Salon Experience, she's the person quietly watching the room, reading people, solving problems before they grow, and making sure both guests and team members feel taken care of.

AboutMore about Marina
I never planned on working in a salon. My background was actually in industrial-organizational psychology, and my dream was to work in corporate psychology — studying workplace culture, employee behavior, communication, and how to create stronger teams. Then one day I came into Robert of Philadelphia for a haircut, and somehow that changed everything.
Off the clockOutside the salon
Outside of work, Marina's life revolves around her children, travel, hockey games, Broadway shows, painting, arts and crafts, and spending time with friends by the pool with a glass of wine.

Marina was born in Sri Lanka and spoke Sinhala, English, and Russian as a child.
