AboutBehind the chair

Every since I was a little girl I have always been the girly and glittery sister. I have always loved makeup and anything that had to do with beauty! Growing up I loved experimenting and playing with mine and my sisters hair. I learned how to braid and do makeup by watching youtube videos and recreating on myself, my mom and sisters. I just always knew I was going to be in the beauty industry! Right out of high school I went into hair school. Here we are almost 10 years later and I still love that feeling of amazing people on what I can create for them. Not only do I love giving that feeling to my clients but I live for continuing to make the most important women in my life feel like a million bucks!

Off the clockOutside the salon

I consider myself a homebody at heart, truly enjoying relaxing and keeping my space clean. When I'm not working or at home, you can find me cheering on my boyfriend at the soccer field or spending time with my family. Family is very important to me, and I cherish our time together. On Sundays, it's usually soccer games or exploring our favorite restaurants. While we enjoy trying new places, we always seem to gravitate towards Asian cuisine or Texas Roadhouse!

I start by asking “So what are we doing today? What are they loving or not loving about their hair, any pictures of them or ideas that they might like or want? Then I feel and look at their hair texture, density, length and style and decide if that is something that will look good or could be executed on them.

I am not the type of stylist that lets my clients integrity of their hair go out the door. No matter what color or style they want i always want healthy hair walking in or out. I ask what products they currently use and professionally recommend what they need to change or add to their collection to maintain their color, recreate their style or simply maintain their hair healthy

First-time guestsNew client Consultation with the closest description of hair coloring/cutting/styling service they are wanting. Or if possible even coming in before the appointment and having a thorough conversation and consultation before their appointment.

Moisture and Shine Shampoo- leaves hair clean without stripping hair color or leaving it dry ColorMoist conditioner- gives hair just enough conditioning without leaving the hair heavy and greasy. Quenched hair mask- leaves the hair feeling healthy and soft without taking away volume. Genius- my go to for all hair types! Great for all ages and hair types. Heat protection, uv protection and also works great as a detangling spray! Anti-frizz cream- multifunctional! Great for curly hair! gives better definition and smoothness to their curls but when you blow dry it in it is an awesome frizz control product! Design foam- give great body and support to any style. especially ones who love volume! Volume Infusion spray- also gives good volume but a softer and lighter effect! also very versatile with curly hair Moroccan oil- whether is a blow dry or some curls i love to finish my style with this because it’s not heavy at all and it tames whatever little flyaways are left. All Day Hold- Always always always finish with our hairspray! definitely a stable and it’s gives enough hold without it being sticky and unmanageable!

All day hold- who doesn’t need a good hairspray to finish with any style! Not heavy or sticky like most hairsprays!
