Started with cutting my Barbie’s hair at age 3, following in my mom’s footsteps who started styling at 16. I grew up taking the bus to her salon, absorbing everything.

When a new guest sits down, I ask what they like about their hair and what's driving them crazy, then realistically discuss their commitment to upkeep. I love seeing the possibilities and having them aligned with what's achievable.
Healthy hair depends on type, but it means maintaining curl patterns and natural shine. I believe in being honest and realistic about what their hair can handle.

Kristi Flora was my colorist. She is the best! She worked with me on a very vulnerable post surgery area of my head. We talked ahead about it. Both she and the shampoo girl were gentle and mindful. I am as pleased with my color as always!
