Color that lasts ten weeks, not six.
What you wash with matters more than what you color with. The shortlist that keeps balayage and dimensional color fresh between visits.
Sulfate-free color-safe shampoo
The single biggest difference between color that lasts six weeks and color that lasts ten. Sulfates strip color; this is what we wash with at the shampoo bowl.
Purple shampoo (used correctly)
For blonde, silver, and platinum guests. Once a week, not daily — overuse turns hair gray-purple. We'll show you the exact rotation at your next visit.
At-home gloss
Between color services, a clear or tinted gloss refreshes shine and tone without altering the base color. The closest thing to a salon-finish at home.
Color refresh kit (custom)
Our stylist-formulated mail-order kit, for existing color guests between visits. Custom-formulated to your last color, mailed direct. Ask your stylist.
Color care FAQ.
How often should I wash color-treated hair?
Less often than you think. Most color guests do best at two to three washes a week with a sulfate-free shampoo. Daily washing — even with the right shampoo — accelerates color fade.
Is purple shampoo for everyone?
No. Purple shampoo neutralizes yellow tones, which is great for blonde, silver, and platinum hair. On brunette or auburn hair it doesn't do anything visible — and on lighter brunettes it can leave a dull cast.
What's the color refresh kit?
It's a custom-formulated at-home gloss or root-touch-up mailed directly to you, prepared by your stylist from your formula on file. We made it for our snowbird and traveling guests who can't make it to the salon for a few months but want their color looking right when they walk into a room.
