Jennifer had never set foot in a salon until she started cosmetology school at 14. Once she realized that being a stylist was really about helping people feel better, she never looked back. Now she’s been doing hair for 24 years, the last 7 of which have been at ROP. She specializes in the training and education of young stylists and also enjoys haircutting because it requires precision. Over her years of experience, she’s learned to have patience and understanding, and not to take people’s reactions too personally. Above all, she loves that when a client sits in her chair, “it’s a time when they can just leave all their stuff behind, put everything on hold, and feel good about themselves.”
