Affable, charming, and filled with a wealth of knowledge about anything and everything, Chris will automatically feel like a dear friend, and we can guarantee you’ll never be bored in his chair. Chris studied history in college but, unsurprisingly, found that history jobs were scarce. So he did some backpacking and soul-searching, which led him to enter hair school— in part because he’d always enjoyed working with and around women. After graduating, he landed a coveted job at ROP, where he believed he could grow as a stylist and develop a sense of community. He wasn’t wrong. After 27 years with the company, he’s become not only an expert and inventive women’s haircutter but has formed lasting relationships with coworkers and clients alike. Though the social aspect of the career is what he loves, outside of work, he can often be found at a quiet stretch of beach with a book. Most importantly, Chris truly follows his own spritz of advice, which is to always, always be yourself.
