LegalCancellation & Booking Policy
We ask for as much notice as possible when you need to cancel or reschedule — your stylist's time was reserved for you, and even a few hours of notice lets us offer that time to another guest.
Last updated: 2026-05-25.
Notice windows
- 24 hours for haircuts, blowouts, single-process color, gloss, treatments, and most standard services.
- 48 hours for color corrections, balayage, full highlights, extensions, smoothing/keratin treatments, and any service that requires multiple hours of stylist time.
- Bridal & event hair — terms are set when the appointment is booked. Deposits may be non-refundable depending on how close to the event the cancellation occurs.
Cancellation fees
We are sparing with cancellation fees and only apply them when we cannot rebook the time. Typical structure:
- Inside the notice window: 50% of the booked service.
- No-show: 100% of the booked service.
- Repeated late cancellations: we may require a deposit on future bookings.
Life happens — illness, family emergencies, weather. Tell us what's going on and your stylist will work with you. The policy exists to protect everyone's time, not to penalize a one-off.
Deposits
For services scheduled over three hours, we may take a card on file or a 25% deposit. The deposit applies to your service total. If you cancel outside the notice window, your deposit is refunded; inside the window, it is applied as the cancellation fee.
How to cancel
You can cancel in any of three ways:
- Use the Boulevard confirmation link from your booking email.
- Log into your Boulevard account directly.
- Call the salon you booked with — numbers on Locations.
Frequently asked
How much notice do I need to give to cancel or reschedule?
We ask for at least 24 hours' notice for haircuts, blowouts, and standard color services, and 48 hours' notice for color corrections, extensions, bridal, and any service that requires multiple hours of stylist time. The longer the service, the earlier the notice we need.
What if I cancel last-minute or no-show?
Cancellations within the notice window or no-shows may be billed a fee — typically 50% of the booked service for last-minute cancellations and 100% for no-shows. Your stylist or the salon will let you know if a fee applies. Our intent is fair to both you and the stylist whose time was reserved for you.
Do you require a deposit?
For services over 3 hours (extensions, full color corrections, bridal parties), we may take a card on file or a deposit at the time of booking. The deposit is applied to your service total.
How do I cancel?
Use the Boulevard confirmation link from your booking email, log into your Boulevard account, or call your salon directly. Salon phone numbers are on the Locations page.
What if I'm running late?
Please call your salon as soon as you know. Your stylist may be able to adjust; if you arrive too late to complete the booked service, we may need to reschedule or do a shorter version of the service. We will never rush a service we cannot do safely.
