Our Story
Our family owned salon chain opened for business in 1980, and has since grown to represent the utmost in luxury and style. Our stylists are specially selected and trained the ROP way, which emphasizes kindness, positivity, and teamwork. In addition to cosmetology school, stylists are required to complete 2000 to 3000 hours of hands-on experience in our salons. They are not independent contractors and they are not paid on commission so they work together as a team, sharing creative knowledge to give you the best possible look. This is very rare in the salon business, but the result is a welcoming “family” atmosphere, where clients feel pampered and loved. However, Our salons feature an edgy, upscale look without the attitude. Because at Robert of Philadelphia, we believe that everyone deserves to be treated like royalty.
